CATXAP 2006 (YOUNG BLACK WINE)  
Grapes: Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot  

GRAPE HARVEST AND PRODUCTION: The grapes are selectioned and  handcutted. They are transported in boxes in order to keep the health of the grapes and to keep them  at its best conditions. The wine is obtained under a controled temperature. The paste is inserted in barrels for the necessary time to obtain  the suitable levels of colour and poliphenOlic substances..  
The wine has been matured in French oak barrels for four months until bottling.

TASTING: It is a cherry colored wine  with a good intense color     and acute bouquet with well integrated features of acute spices (vanilla) and  touches of red grapes. This is a  tasty , elegant, fruity  and fresh wine  . It is very well integrated with the “taninos2 of the wood. It is equilibrated, with a quite long and nice ending.  


GASTRONOMY AND P’RESERVING: It is an ideal wine for accompany white and red meat, lamb , fowlmeat, rice and cheese. The wine must be served at a temperature 17-18ª C. . We expect  a good evolution of the wine for the next 2-3 years.
